Yesterday I ventured into the AGO to check out the brilliance of Evan Penny, Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera’s work. I was pleasantly surprised to see Evan Penny himself at the gallery speaking about his process and conceptual thought basis. The sculptures are massive and insanely detailed. Using only his imagination, he skillfully warps these sculptures which produces the illusion of simple distortions or skews made possible in photoshop, but in a three dimensional field. I may or may not have fangirled over him and his work but whatever,

the man is a genius.
